The Aastra BS300 range of base stations offers a variety of coverage patterns to suit different situations.

The base stations support the MX-ONE, MD Evolution, MD110 Consono, including BusinessPhone, BP50, BP250, and, the Ericsson / Ascom DCT1800 and DCT1800-S cordless systems..

All Aastra BS300 base stations are compact, lightweight and easy to install in small as well as very large systems.

Aastra BS330 DECT Base Station

The BS330 is the standard solution for most business premises. Although typical indoor coverage is 30 m, actual coverage depends on factors such as the spacing of walls and the building materials used.

The BS330 supports up to 8 simultaneous speech calls per base station. Remaining signalling capacity is reserved for DECT SMS messaging and alarm handling. Whilst the BS330 is primarily designed for indoor coverage, an outdoor housing is available for outdoor applications. Outdoor coverage is up to 300 m.

Aastra BS340 DECT Base Station

The BS340 shares the basic characteristics of the BS330, but comes with two external omni-directional dipole antennas. These default antennas provide a spherical coverage pattern and a number of directional antennas is available as alternatives. The directional antennas radiate more in certain directions than in others.

The benefit with the alternative antennas is the ability to direct coverage exactly where you need it, reducing overall cost in cases where the ideal coverage shape is not a sphere.

Aastra BS370 DECT Wireless Base Station

[only available as refurbished model)

This base station is suitable for low to medium traffic capacity areas where cabling is a problem. The BS370 is connected to the cordless PBX via a radio link to a BS330 or BS340 host base station. The radio signals from the cordless phones to the BS370 are retransmitted from the BS370 towards the host base station. T

he host base station sends the signals to the system. The other way round, the BS370 receives radio signals of the host base station and retransmits them to the cordless phones within the BS370’s coverage area.

It extends the coverage area of the host base station without the need to lay a new cable, saving man hours and avoiding disruption. The BS370 only needs a local power adapter, so it can for instance be mounted on a lamppost and use the same power supply.

Optional Antenna's for BS340 and BS370 base stations


Omni Directional Single Antenna

Coverage mainly in the horizontal plane.

Effectively squashes the basic sphere of the BS340 base station closer into a shape of a discus, and in outdoor conditions doubles it's range up to 600 meters.in all directions, and at the same time reduces the coverage in the vertical plane.

Typical applications examples for this would be a parking lot, factory halls or large storage facilities.

Directional Single Antenna 


Coverage mainly in one direction.

The coverage "envelope" is flattened slightly, and increasing its range up to 1000 meters, with an approximate width of about 100 meters at its widest mid point.

Most suitable of linear coverage such as to cover walkways between buildings, long narrow access roads, tunnels, or to provide a wireless link with a remote installed wireless BS370 base station placed in remote areas where cabling may be a not be possible.

Directional Dual Antenna


Coverage in mainly one direction.

The coverage range is up to 750 meters outdoors, compared with single directional antenna its horizontal and vertical coverage "envelope" is higher and wider.

The SIP-DECT base station for wireless communication in IP networks

Indoor and outdoor RFPs are used to set up a DECT radio network over the entire company premises. The indoor variant RFP 32 has an integrated omni-directional antenna, while the outdoor RFP 34 has external ones.

Each radio fixed part works flexibly with 12 of 120* the available radio channels and guarantees sufficient call capacity.

RFP 32 IP and RFP 34 IP

The DECToverIP base station for wireless communication in IP networks

The indoor base station RFP 32 IP enables the complete integration of DECT radio networks into the IP infrastructure and provides 8 simultaneous call connections.

It is powered either via a separate power supply unit or via Power-over-Ethernet. The outdoor base station RFP 34 IP performs the outdoor operating requirements (class of protection IP 65).

If required, radio relay antennas can also be used instead of the dipole antennas. The RFP 34 IP is powered using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
